The quote, “Money can’t buy happiness but I’d rather cry inside a BMW than a bike.” Is something I cannot agree with because happiness is something that is psychological and is different from the comforts of life. Concise Oxford Dictionary teaches us that Comforts means a state of ease or freedom from pain whilst happiness means a feeling of pleasure and contentment. One may be rich but the wealth cannot buy the feeling of pleasure and contentment, it can only afford being in a state of ease or freedom from something. Happiness is priceless, having the feeling is priceless.
Without happiness, you will feel a deep feeling of a gap in your heart, like something is missing that no matter how many times you buy life’s comforts, you do not feel contented and satisfied. Like something is still missing and none can fill that hole. It is God that is missing, as one cannot feel truly happy and complete without God. It is because it is Him alone who can fill the gap in.
DISCLAIMER: I do not own the picture.
Love is defined as a deep feeling of affection to someone, a deep feeling of attachment.
True love happens in the situation where no matter what the other person is doing, you still love them no matter how much they have hurt you, pushed you away and do whatever stuffs that can turn your love off to them. Humans have not yet attained that kind of love, the one so called unconditional and eternal love. It is only God our Creator who has that kind of love from us notwithstanding our disobedience towards Him, He still loves us for what we are and for whom we are. Still he accepts our apology whenever we ask. I believe that humans cannot attain that kind of love like our Father. True love only exists in The Father to us and not us towards our partner because if that so has been attained, there would be no breakups and if there is, then no matter what the situation is, you will not do anything that can cause anguish to your partner for it is true love. It defies anything! Temptations for one.
The Father’s love is truly Great and Intense that He even sent His only Begotten Son to save us all from the pits of hell.
Ever feel like You are the only talentless person inside a room full of talented people? Ever feel like You are letting the people around you down? Have you ever asked God The Father that if everything happens for a reason, what is the reason for yourself? If you were really fated for that field you have entered, or not? It is like riding a roller coaster without putting on your seatbelt; a death wish in a metaphorical sense; it is really frustrating. And when you have come to the point of breaking down, you are helpless and all you do is cry and scream your anguish in silence because no matter how many times you try, it is never going to get better. And when that phase is over, you start to doubt yourself.
There is no point crying over spilled milk because the tears you have shed will not restore back the milk. All you have to do is get up, smile and move on. Remember that life must go on no matter how hard the problem is because real life is not like the movies where every problem has a solution. One cannot apply those solutions the protagonists have applied in the movies; those are the story’s fictional characters made by the imaginations of people.
Truly I tell you, nothing’s going to make you feel better and help you become better but the touch of God’s hands and other people, be it through physical contact or emotional contact; their honest words of, encouragement and the realization that there is no point crying over something that is not polished. So when you fail, try to polish it ‘because if you’ll just let it remain a failure, it is like finding a diamond in the dark. You can feel that it is a diamond but doubt that it is so you left it there, remained undiscovered. It is the same with your talents and skills; it needs a lot of practice and polishing to make it near perfection.
Everything in life is compromised even pain; its existence is there to remind us that we live and that we are living in our mortal bodies. Imperfections too, remind us that no one can get something in an instant as no one can cheat in life.

Evolution of our immune system
I am a Christian and I know that evolution is not something a Christian should believe. I don’t actually believe Charles Darwin but the evolution of our immune system, it is another thing.
Please take time reading the linked article, it is very informative.

When the light starts to fade,
when my hope is shaking
Day is breaking
and my fear is starting to break in,
I come to You
To ask for Your gracious help
And Divine assistance
For you are my protector
The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit,
You light up my way
Showed me how to live it
For you are Amazing God
Your unselfish love is My foundation,
The rock of all your creation
It protects us from damnation
Jesus Christ, the Word of Perfection
The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit,
You light up my way
Showed me how to live it
For you are Amazing God
For you are Amazing God,
My God.
Philippines is located in the Southeast Asia and the natives are called Filipinos, the national language is Filipino, the second most spoken language is English, in fact, many foreign people not just from the neighboring countries but all over Asia come to The Pearl of the Orient just to have a better education in English. Filipinos are known worldwide for the passion and diligence they put into their work. The general information about the country and the people can be traced down to the tiniest data but when we talk about National Identity, what makes a Filipino, truly a Filipino? This question baffles me up until this time. Does every Filipino know what it takes to be a Filipino? During my elementary years, I was taught that Filipinos use a PO and Opo as a sign of respect for the adults, but the thought that if a foreigner use the word PO as a sign of respect to the grownups, does that make him a Filipino too? It surely didn’t make sense to me but then, the answer is NO.
While I was watching the video(The Word of The Lourd: National Identity) along with my new-found friends, I was dismayed not because of the people who don’t remember those historical people but for myself for not knowing each and every one of them, it was kind of melancholic because as the generation pass by, less and less are taught about them and absorbed by the minds of the younger generations which gives little to no importance to the people who sacrificed themselves for the younger generations’ future. Do Filipinos really tend to forget the past or is it just a generalization and a result of not enough research done? Or are Filipinos just more inclined to the show business industry than to the Philippine history? If the answer to the latter question is yes, then, the show business industry really corrupts the minds of the people. If a person does an experiment, asks questions like which one is more interesting and the consensus agrees on the answer, show business industry, then it shows that the show business industry has a lot of influence upon the mentality of the countrymen. As for me, I am not really interested about Angel Locsin and Phil Younghusband’s fairytale love story because I am not fond of looking into someone who is insignificant in my life for the reason that it does not affect my well-being as a human person and the community I live in, it’s like going in circles.
According to the film, the reporter said, “Maybe it’s just a defense mechanism.” – My mind says, the past may hurt but that doesn’t mean that it has to be forgotten; only fools forget the past, for the past plays an important role in the future, the past silhouettes the future, the mistakes done in the past can be avoided in the future. Simple logic, it’s just like solving a Mathematical Equation, you already know that using this and that formula is wrong so you tried doing the correct one to avoid getting the same wrong result, you study the past to avoid committing the same mistake in the future so I personally disagree when he said that line because I don’t forget the past even how hurtful they may be, it’s part of me and my life, my past experiences are the reason to be standing where I am standing now. But when we talk about national identity, I think I have a national historical amnesia too ‘cause I can’t really quite think about what it takes being a Filipino.
What further devastated the sense of national historic identity of every Filipino was when former President Ferdinand Marcos almost single-handedly repaired the Philippines’ relationship to Japan further diminishing their pride.
If my assumptions are correct about the show business industry, then kids at a young age should not be exposed to it or their time should be limited when watching TV shows so that their brains will not just be thinking about the celebrities but also the vital things they need as they grow older. Maybe it’s not the citizens but the past leaders that lead the citizens to forget the past.
